Under the new framework, Mustapha Bakano revealed plans to establish processing plants in every region to facilitate logistics and enhance market access for cassava growers.

By leveraging technology and strategic partnerships, NCGA aims to overcome logistical challenges and ensure timely delivery of cassava produce to international markets.

In addition to market access, Bakano discussed ongoing efforts to improve cassava cultivation techniques and reduce harvest time.

According to him, through research and development initiatives, NCGA is working to enhance the quality and productivity of cassava crops, ultimately contributing to food security and economic prosperity in Nigeria.

He discussed strategies to protect cassava farms from security risks, including satellite surveillance and cooperation with security forces.

By integrating advanced technology and rapid response mechanisms, he said the aims was to protect farmers and their investments from external threats.

While Alhaji Mustapha Othman Bakano’s past political aspirations have garnered attention, he emphasized his current focus on addressing food insecurity in Kaduna state and beyond.

With millions facing hunger, Alhaji Mustapha remains committed to leveraging his expertise and resources to alleviate suffering and promote sustainable development in Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
